The good thing is he wouldn't need that on the 05 and up.He will have to get the Emanage and a generic type injector harness. We may have another supercharged Vibe here soon.

After 10 hours of blood, sweat, and tears...........no way. haha. I dunno, I mean, if you pay full price for the kit (2500), then you buy the plate for 150 and port the supercharger so it lines up perfectly, then buy an emanage for 500 and tune it for 400-500, you myswell go turbo. But if you get the kit ultra cheap it may be worth it. I dunno, personally, with the supercharger, it's one of those "it's fast but doesn't feel fast" things. I ordered my boost gauge so we'll see if I'm making the proper boost and go from there.
i know... i got out bit by 10 bucks... I thought if i could get it for 600 and get the emanage along with all the asociated hardware I would be about 1000-1200 installed.

In his defence,he did his install many years ago when there was less info floating around.Second,he did it by himself. You had a partner and it only saved you 2 hours.

I just emailed the adaptor plate maker to see if there are any left. If not I have a friend who owns a machine shop. SC would'nt be until spring anyways.
Quote, originally posted by kunkstyle »So with that adapter plate, does that mean the 03-04 GM S/C can be used?on the drive by wire yes.. but you still new a stand alone piggy back for the ecm... the TRD unit will not workbut being your an awd you don't need the adaptor plate because all AWD's are cable

Putting it on a 05+ not DBW is not worth it to me. Too much money over all on all the extras you need to get. Just do what I plan on doing. Get with a race car builder and see what he can do.
Quote, originally posted by kunkstyle »Really? I thought they were DBW. Now I'm confused. Why are the CAI's different for the 05+ AWD?CAI's for the '05+ AWD are the same as the '03 & '04. I have used both '03 & '04 CAI & Short Ram's on my '05 AWD. Perfect fit, no CEL's.'03-'06 AWD's are all Cable throttle.'03-'04 Base's are Cable throttle'05+ Base's ONLY are DBWPS - You do NOT need the S/C adapter plate with the AWD.

Why are the CAI's different for the 05+ AWD?The reason why the intakes are different is because the matrix owners are a bunch of panzys LOL JK JK. They made it a two peice intake for easier fitment issues on the matrix. And the matrix and vibe use the same intake. It has nothing to do with the AWD issue. It due to the front end change on the car to clear fog lights.

Aaaaah. And all this time I thought I had the DBW. Guess I could have looked at the cable connecting the throttle. Who knew? Thanks for the clarification.
