LOL. it's a work in progress. still working out the tuning bugs. it's proving to be much more difficult than expected. right now the tuning is grinding the gears at WOT, so i have to stay out of it for now til we can figure out a band aid approach. we plan to drive down to Portland over Memorial Weekend to have it tuned properly at PDXtuning. will cost some money, but cheaper than $6K for a new tranny! Plus, these auto's are a mystery when it comes to heavy or more modified ones. the tuners just don't have too many to work with, almost all are MT. so that is the obstacle that I run into right now.... frustrating to say the least!
well, it's a dilemma, you said it was fast, but you shouldn't be street racing and if you were you wouldn't be posting kill stories here, and there's no time slips from a track, and no details, just a few pics of a car at a curb. Are you sure that thing still even has an engine in it? just firing back at you, looks really nice, bet it is a blast to drive How much time and money have you put into it?and (gasp) is your vibe really going to be traded in on a minivan?
Old post brought from the dead....So I go thru all these pics and old posts just kind of interested in seeing other people's rides.. and then POOF... done... no more follow up on the car or what has been done in the last year? I'd be interested to hear if anything else has changed...
I had the car running from March to First week of June. I spun a rod bearing then. And then after that I just lost motivation to work on it till recently. I will be posting pics of the progress as the next 2 months will be school, work, and working on the car. And the car has the sr20de USDM in it. It was about to be cammed when the car was running, but then I blew it and then I just didn't do it. Pictures soon to come of the car though. So keep your eyes peeled within the next month or so.Inder
