If you go to the official Pontiac web site, and click on the '09 Vibe picture, it will take you on a little into to the new Vibe. In that, and I think in the accompanying video, they show an '09 with a roof rack. It is different to the older Vibes though - like the older Matrix' optional rack, there are no siderails. Just uprights (don't know the technical name) with crossbars. So it doesn't really flow with the roofline like we're used to seeing.Edit: Just went back there myself, and can't find the "reveal" video any longer. But at least there's still the one pic I mentioned. Surely there are some other ones on the web. If I find any, I'll post the link.New edit:http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Dr ... #16Article w/pix. Scroll toward the bottom for pix w/roof rack.
"...don't concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all of that Heavenly Glory..."'06 Base Platinum Two-Tone. Automatic. Manual doors and windows. Old style factory crossbars AND GM Utility Bars. Old style center console lid. All-weather front floormats. Rear bumper fascia protector. Drawtite hitch.
Haven't seen any pix of a siderail-style rack, but I think it would improve the roofline, or at least the perception of it. Of course all the people who have removed the siderails from their 1st gen Vibes will want to lynch me for saying that.Just my opinion - and we all know what they say about opinions...

i test drove a matrix on thursday and saw a XR AWD with the roof rack - imo the matrix rack looks better the optional rack for the vibe.VIBE:MATRIX:http://www.toyota.ca/cgi-bin/W...ehtml
