YESSS!!!! I finally got my GT.....What to do about rock chips?

I finally got my Vibe this weekend and after a 1400 mile road trip I have to say that I am very impressed with it. I do have a problem though... I noticed that I already have a couple of rock chips on the hood and I am the type to obsess about that kind of stuff. Anyway, I am going to the nearest dealer tomorrow to look into a bra. Does anyone know how much the are in price? Also, who else has chips in their paint and what have you done to fix it? Any help will be appreciated!!!! It feels good to finally join the "I have a Vibe" club! Jon

i didn't like the idea of a bra either -- i opted for the carflector bug flector from vent shade which kinda contours around to go with the headlights and my head light covers.....

where did you find the bug delflector?

from my local aftermarket shop....any shop should be able to find them or go to driverfx.com and order online.....

Thanks guys, I agree with you on the bra isssue.....I think they look like crap most of the time. I think that I will try the deflector though, thanks for the link!!! Jon

I'd never put another one on any of my vehicles.

I do like the rear floor mat for the hatch. Would make nice interior protection. It's on the gmgoodwrench web site in an earlier post.

I agree with you on that....I intend to order one here when I get my next paycheck. On a side note, it looks like I am going to need a category in my budget for all the times I wash the car...I guess that's what you get for ordering black.. Jon

My Sanoma had that type of protection around the lower parts and it worked fine. Just got a little rough looking after 4 years, but I never replaced it so I'm not sure how easily it comes off.

amen on the black issue -- seems i am out everyday doing something to my car....especially washing....girlfriend is getting jealous cause i spend more time with the car than her.....but i tell her she can come outside and watch
