Magnaflow makes the only true catback system for our cars. Everything else is only axle-back. For a cat-back, I would recomend Magnaflow.

Good point, custom is a great way to go. Also, remember that Borla is only an axle-back system.

one must also note that this guy (like me) probably won't have the savvy to install the system himself, which will cost an additional amount.

However, once I got the replacement hanger I took it to a shop to get it welded so I wouldn't have to worry about the clamp. The weld job was $50 and the guy at the shop helped me line things up which didn't take much.I think it's a good weekend afternoon project with a buddy.

Yea I have the Greddy exhaust but it's just the axle-back kit but thats all they make. I have a GT though, if Kyle wants the greddy exhaust I would go with the Greddy Dynamic Tune Kit it has Two outlets from the muffler and you can plug one up to give it a higher or lower exhaust note deppending on your preferance. If thats what you would like to go with check out the greddy website, and find the outlet section. There only a 100 bucks because there discontinuing them, so i would jump on it quick. Then with your K&N CAI, PPE Headers, Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cat, and a resonater delete your vibe is gonna sound nice. If they dont have any more though just go with a Invidia, Tanabe, Skunk2, or Greddy Evo 2 if thats the way you wanna go for the import exhausts, these are for the 2zzge though. They'll fit but all you have to do is change the flange

You could probably just take it to a shop and by the flange there, like midas or some local shop.

the only problem is I live in a very very redneck town in the middle of nowhere so I would have to order it from somewhere or go at least 50-60 miles out of the way to get one

You can use your stock exhaust and weld it to the new one. Are there any local shops that would be able to do it for you. I say go custom it would be the same as buying the kit, and if you have enough confidence do it yourself. All you need is a tig welder, a sawsall, and the neccesary tools to install the exhaust.

sorry wagonmafia but those import exhausts are not just for 2zzge..evo2 exhaust are usually for turbo cars..that guy can pretty much get any exhaust..but if he does want it to sound nice..he might have to go custom..by the way wagonmafia what greddy exhaust do you have?

I have the Evo2, and there not usually for turbo cars but they do have kits for turbo cars to. Your probably thinking of the EvoTT those kits are for Turbo cars only because they have larger piping to optimize performance in its boosted form. I told kyle that those kits i mentioned were for the 2zzge not the 1zzge. I know they make them for other cars to.

well look around online.. evo2 were meant for turbo cars...thats why when i was listening to ur exhaust vids..i notice your exhaust was loud towards the end...gurantee if you get a new exhasut ur car would sound so much better...not saying nothing wrong with ur exhaust. but evo2 not meant for cars that do not have turbos.

My exhaust was loud at the end of the gear because of lift, not because my exhaust was meant for turbo'd cars. Go take a look at the greddy website.

i know its the lift that makes it loud.. what im trying to say is that ur exhaust gets loud when is at high rpm...i bet when ur driving normal it does not sound loud like it does at the end..when u have a constant sound from begining to end thats a normal exhaust..ur exhaust sounds loud when is at high rpms and when lift kicks.
