Chopped Vibe Concept

Post by sstress »

I always thought the Vibe had a little too much window height. I wanted to see what it would look like if the roof was trimmed down a few inches... what do you think?BEFOREAFTER

Looks like a Dodge Magnum to me... but a lot slower. Nice "chop" work.

Looks good. The only issue I see, now the back side window is nearly obsolete.

Eh, I will go with looks like a Magnum. Plus the sidewalls on the Vibe/Trix are too bulky and high to give it good, mean, Chrysler 300 physique.

I like it, but it would look much better if there was a way of just bringing the front of the roof down to meet the level of the hatch... Leveling out the roofline..

Ok, one more... not only is the Vibe too tall, its too narrow... how about choped, with some fender flares with offset wheels? This is an animated Gif so you can see the diff between stock and the photoshop mod...

My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

Very nice Ultimately this is only fantasy, because I would be insane to spend $$$ to chop a roof on a Vibe... it would cost thousands by the time it was done. But, I cant help but to see the basic lines of the Vibe and wonder what would actually make it look less utilitarian, and more... uhhh... "cool". Even a body kit isnt enough to really bring it to that "ohh nice car" level.Oh well, I still love it... smooth as silk, awesome mileage, and loads of room

I agree, wayyy too much headroom in that car! Could easily chop it and still have 4 inches of extra headroom in the backseat!

IMO i dont like the chop, just cause it seems the door sides are still to high, just looks weird
