http://www.vhtpaint.com/products/sfID1/7/sfID2/34. Being a bit hesitant I descided to try it out on a piece of plexiglass I had sitting around. It went on ok, but looked bad when lit up, looked all splotchy. The important part of this is before hand I descided I also needed to figure out how to take the tail lights out so I started messign around in the cargo area and removed the hatches back there to get at the bolts. On the passenger side one i started loosening the top bolt of the 3 that hold it in place, but beign 8pm and cold out i descided to stop and tighten the bolt back up.My question is I am not sure if I got it to tight/loose. Is it possible to get it to tight and have it rub on the paint and promote rust and/or trap moisture back there sinc ei live in MI and there is snow and ice about? Or am I just beign paranoid about rust and need to go back to bed?I WOULD NOT be messing with the plastic parts in this cold, anything under 40*F and you are risking cracking or breaking something... If you are worried about the bolts/nuts, go out with a hair drier and warm the area for a little while to make sure the plastic isn't brittle... Rust starts through oxidization, Salt speeds the process, as it's lite corrosive and an electrolite, it actually creates a slight potential difference between metals (a slight electrical charge, between dissimilar metals) that's why it does all the nasties to metal..
