i have a few questions about itfor starters i have a 2004 vibe with the aux button on the basic radio1. where will the port be located *i think its that thing by the gear shift*2. will i be able to use my zune with it?3. im thinking of getting it installed how much will it cost me estimate please4. how simple is it to usesorry about these stupid questions i just dont want to waste time or money on somthing that isnt worth it
umm...there is no auxiliary function in the radio. the thing by the gear shift is the shift interlock bypass. if you want aux capabilities, you have to find an aftermarket solution.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
victorinox... i think there might be a stereo (red/white) aux input in the back of the radio. you would have to take the system out of dash to get to it though

You need to get an adapter to be able to use an AUX input. Adapters will typically cost around $80. I don't know how much you'd get charged for an install. The "port" will be wherever you tell the install guys to put it. A popular option is to have a length of cable to an 1/8" stereo jack in the compartment under the shifter.Yes, you can use it with your Zune by plugging it into the headphone jack.A list of adapters:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=21818
