Adding some zip to the interior?

Post by darcmater »

Hello all, latley I have had soem extra money and been lookign to do some mods to my car. Have about 5 or so items on order : ) But all are exterior ones and I want to do somehtign to add a bit of personal touch and zip to the interior. Personally I love the interior of the car as it is, the color scheme worked out really well by chance with the head unit/amp/speakers/etc I had installed. Plus in generall the interior seems to just flow the way I like it. All that being said it is a bit dark in there and want to add some color, preferably a nice blue to match the exterior of my car.I am thinking of doing some LED lights under the 2 front seats useing the 12v poer thats unused in the 05 armwrest console. But that will only add a dit of color at night. Was also thinking of adding some car seat covers that are black and grey/blue with the word VIBE stiched into them. Have been doign some research lookign around the web and ebay and such. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of a good site/seller that makes such a product that is a direct fit(non universal junk) that isnt above say $100 that is still a quality product? Was also wondering if anyone had any other suggestions to add some zip to the interior with out any major changes to it? Not really a big fan of the fake carbon fiber/ colored pieces I have seen some do on the center console/door panels

you should paint the silver plastic thats around the radio, driver side vent, and on the 2 front doors where the window switches are and stuff, i've been thinking about doing this for awhile now, just havent gotten around to doing it.as for the seat covers, someone here has some nice ones, expensive, but they're made to fit the actual vibe seat and allhttp://www.wetokole.com/PONTIACF.htmlalso found thishttp://www.car-truck-accessori...e.asp

The Wet Okole will run you more than $100, but they are probably one of the best out there. Mine have worn incredibly well in the three years I have had them. And they do liven the interior up, and there is a huge color assortment to choose from.

Or you could get a bit more spendy and go for leather like Hope did a few years back:

How about some pedal covers, I have seen some nice ones on VOTM pics, but seem to be haveing a hard time finding a set that comes with the 'dead pedal" as i have heard some refer to it as. Perhaps one that is coated blue to match the car to add some color in the interior without throwing the whole interior off?
