just got an email regarding a crazy bridge, the topic was " do you think you could cross it?" i know i could, that'd be alot of fun, here's a pic and some facts that came along with the emailThe Millau viaduct is part of the new E11 expressway connecting Paris and Barcelona and features the highest bridge piers ever constructed. The tallest is 240 meters (787 feet) high and the overall height will be an impressive 336 meters (1102 feet), making this the highest bridge in the world.
im pretty sure that would hurt to go over the guard rail...
'04 lava GTSRI, Progress rear sway bar, Infinity reference backs, components in the front, Infinity Kappa 124.7w sub, Alphasonik 600rms@2ohms for the sub, alpine head unit, worst paint ever!
That bridge looks awesome!!Just last night I was reading "The Feast of Love" by Charles Baxter and he described a pretty insane bridge in *I think* upper Michigan. But this one looks way scarier! I say I think it would be fun to drive across... just to say that I did.Oh, I know a woman who puts her hands over her eyes everytime she has to go over a bridge. How scary is that!

I think you are talking about the Mackinac Bridge (pronounced Mack-in-aw). Years ago in like the 70's when it was built some college girl was going over it in a Yugo and the winds were so high it blew her car over the railing. The bridge above looks absolutely insane! My ex as deathly afraid of bridges and being in CT you need to cross a lot of them to get anywhere, especially NYC. So she would practically hyperventilate each time.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mackinac_Bridge
While not as impressive as the bridge up there, the Kicking Horse Canyon bridge is about 90 meters high.

90 meters is still high. I know it's crazy going over it, cause it's roadbed is metal grating rather than cement... so you CAN see through it..
Mike Row did a Dirty Jobs episode there, prettycool stuff to watch. I've been across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge a few times. It's insane how it has two tunnels connected by a man made islad that you pop out of in the middle of the bay for a short period. This was designed so that shipping traffic and moreso the Navy ships can pass unimpeded through the channel.

I've been through the Winsor tunnel that travels between Detriot and Winsor canada, that was cool... And I recently got to pass through the Lincoln tunnel in NYC, that WAS AWESOME... not so much because of the tunnel, but because the Subie would drownd out EVERYTHING including busses, when I got on it, and I got on it a lot in that one... lol...

Sounds like what I used to do in my Civic when I had the Apexi WSII. Not as loud as your Subie I bet, but when driving to Fairfax, VA to see my now fiance the Baltimore tunnel was two minutes of open window wonderful exhaust notes as I plowed through 3rd, then 4th. What wonderful music!Bridges I've crossed that are notable.-Every bridge in NYC just about-Chesapeak Bay Bridge-Delaware Bridge-Thames River Bridge (New London CT, you can see the very top of the mast of the USCG Eagle when it's at dock there going over the bridge)-CT River Bridge-Newport Bridge-Jamestown Bridge-Most the bridges in Cleveland, OH.-Sagamore Bridge (Cape Cod)-Golden Gate (one of my life's to-do items checked off)To name a few that I remember.
