With all the recent interest in used Vibes - I thought I'd check today's Columbus paper. There were 5 listed for sale - in the past I don't think I have ever see more than one or two.'06 Vibe Sport Sunroof and full power $14,598 [Ford dealer](What is a Vibe "Sport"?)'06 Vibe $12,495 [Multibrand dealer]'05 Vibe AT Super Clean 22,009 miles $12,795 [Pontiac dealer]'05 Vibe Very Low Miles $13,991 [Toyota dealer]'04 Vibe super clean one owner with lots of extras $8,950 [Chevy dealer]Overall comment - STUPID car dealers. I'd assume they get more calls if they don't include it in the ad. Peaks curiosity, gives the potential buyer a reason to call the dealer. Then when they have them on the phone...
I was stunned when came across a Russian website for used cars http://cars.auto.ru/cars/used/pontiac/vibe/?_p=1 (in Cyrillic). They have over 200 used Vibes listed and the price of more or less decent one is around $18-19k (including shipping, customs and delivery). Isn't it something? GM doesn't sell these cars in Russia for some reason, but they got more and more popular there last time.
In the Trenton, NJ area (25-mile radius) today, there are 24 used Vibes listed on Autotrader.com ranging from $8.5K (03 base Satellite, 86K miles) to $17K (05 base Abyss, 13K miles) for those that have prices (4 do not). Half of them are silver - I did hear that this is the most popular car color.
