Why am I so shifty about buying an HID kit. I guess this could be in exterior but this is more about me making a decision than advice on the upgrade. Like I mentioned its $75 for the kit shipped, I'll get the $5 insurance on shipping just in case, 2 year warranty on the ballasts, 6000k kit, and they are made by Xentec.Someone just give me the nudge to get them or tell me to not bother.
The ballast and the bulbs will come with two year warranty under normal use. Warranty will cover all normal defects, any physical damages will void the warranty
For a whopping $80, you can almost throw a "why the heck not?!?!" at it and try it. Worst case, you're out $80. So you skip one Friday night out at the bars (ok, maybe two). No biggie...

Purchased. I will probably be waiting till February to get them cause it seems his shipping is a bit slow. But I also can attribute that to the fact that I live on the East Coast and he is in LA.
for sure let us know. my bulbs are sucking bad (removed) i cant see anything any more. I do like the drl's though maybe ill do a mod so i can have the hid's off and fogs on....with hir fogs....hmmm
I checked out some more people talking about them on an RSX forum. Some kid asked about them like I did, some people came on saying for that cheap they are crap, but they don't own them. Then like 2 or 3 kids sounded off that they had the kits and have been workin fine for months now. They claim that they ARE genuine Xentec's and not knock offs. One kid loved them but only complained of the slow startup. But with HIDs there is a delay anyways with the ignition and warmup of the bulb to optimal temp.
Whelan, your bad.I was looking at them and I want a set now.I noticed he carries the H4 set without highbeam.I've never used my highbeams on the Vibe yet.Any of the HID guru's mind giving an opinion on this. Thanks,HID nOOb.

i'd pick up a set, but to expensive for me at the moment, i'd even get a second set incase one of the ballasts stopped working and warrenty was over, like a backup set, i know im weird, see if this guy will do a group purchase and see how many people we can get, im sure if we order like 30+ he'll drop the price
You will want your hi-beams kev.Trust me... I am currently selling my h4 hid lowbeams and halogen highbeams because i replaced them with bi-xenonQuote, originally posted by kevera »Whelan, your bad.I was looking at them and I want a set now.I noticed he carries the H4 set without highbeam.I've never used my highbeams on the Vibe yet.Any of the HID guru's mind giving an opinion on this. Thanks,HID nOOb.Not to mention here in the states, you must have a high and low beam or you will not pass inspection. Not sure how your inspections go.The h4/9003 kit with a halogen highbeam will not be 75-80 bucks... I will bet any amount of money on that. And if you go with bi-xenon your looking at 220-250 range.Everyone needs to keep in mind the whelans kit is different than ours. He has a matrix with a seperate high and low beam. His lights use a 9006 for the lowbeam. our only light that uses that bulb is the fog light. So in order to get a kit for that price on a 9006 you can only use it in your fog lights not your headlights.I am sure he will drop the price on shipping, then turn around and raise the price on the Hid kit.bottom line is he will want to make money. The way he is currently making money is the shipping charges of 30-40bucks... everyone knows it don't cost that much to ship... I know for a fact most of these shippers use USPS priority shipping in their standard rate box for 9.95 shipped to any location in the USA.

And yes, I do have a 9006 low beam, the only bulb we share is our foglamps which are 9006 as well. So it makes it easy for me to just pull out my HIRs and drop them into my fogs. I just confirmed the bulb type and color I am getting, 6000k. So we shall see what happens. I looked deeper online for this specific seller, it seem pretty much all these HIDs at this cost come from the same point, they are true Xentecs, and as with anything there are some that are defective, but since this seller is from the states, returns are easier than shipping overseas. But all in all people like them and there are limited problems, more so people who are not cautious with possibly needing a relay or improper install.Psyched...You know I am
