Hello,I purchased a 2006 Vibe GT a year ago. The 6 speed manual is hard to shift into gear some times usually at lower RPM's. However, it is hard from a dead stop in neutral to push up into first also. Its not terribly hard, just like you have to force it up. Has anyone had this problem? I took it to the dealer and they said it seems fine. It also seem loud and clicking every time you go from one gear to another. I have driven many manual cars and they never make a loud click and go in gear easy with the clutch in. Anyone have this problem or know of a solution??? Thank you.
sorry to hear, occasionally i get a problem with shifting down from 2nd to first and i go to push it into 1st but it doesnt until i hit under 20 km/h, i think it's more of feature so u dont blow your tranny? no clue, but hopefully someone can help you out
the only problem i had with mine was getting into reverse, i would have to put it in first then put it in reverse sometimes...the tranny does require that you push a bit to get it in first, make sure you are pressing the clutch all the way in. it is pretty "clicky" though, it makes a bit of noise..
