Well actually I bought 1 and I encouraged my son to buy the other. Tell me how we did. I bought a '05 w/60k miles but new Goodrich tires, moon and tune packages (monsoon) and extended warranty bumper to bumper up to 100k or 2009. I love it! Blue Neptune. Only overlooked having ABS but I'll be fine. $10,300.Son - 2007 with moon and tunes, abs, pioneer nav/music etc, traction control (I think - has extra button next to the glass lift button). Fire engine red 39k miles. Swwet car. $11,700. Do I call GM to find out if there is any warrany left? Anybody bought an extended? Worth it? Thanks
Welcome! Pricing I'm not sure about. Extended warranty's are only worth it if you use them. If nothing happens to the car, the extended warranty was a waste. That little button next to the hatch release is a tire pressure monitoring system. You should post pics before everyone goes for blood.

Don't know if the 05's had the 5 yr/100,000 mile powertrain warranty; The 2007 certainly would have. You may have to do something to transfer it. Info should be in the owner's manual/warranty info that might be in your glovebox. See a dealer. Or perhaps the Pontiac website. Those prices are less than what I have generally seen on dealer lots. You can look at http://www.carmax.com and see what they are asking around the US for used Vibes.

I'll post pics this week. They are so cute! I knew I was going to get a "new to me" car and every Vibe that when by caught my eye...then I found out it was a Vibe! So I started my homework and found the 2 cars. Mine in December, his last night. Funny market. I don't understand why they are not in higher demand. Such a versitile. easy car! And the Toyota engine should be good for 175K plus miles. I'm up for the challenge.
Welcome to the site. We have a pair of Vibes ('06s) too - one for our daughter and one for my wife. If you see a Salsa red one in the West Allis area it might be our daughter's.As Jake said, the '07 should still have the remaining part of the 100 kmile powertrain warranty. I've always gambled against the extended extra-cost warranties and so far the only serious car problems I've had have come well after any such warranty would have expired.

hey welcome to the family, glad you found us. now encourage your son to start postin on here. but i'm warning you guys right now, this site is very addictive . btw, your son's color is "lava" my 05 only came with a 3yr/36k warranty, but i paid extra for a 60k warranty. i'm just over 37k now, and i don't see any signs of problems coming up. i stay pretty regular with my maintenance, so i think i woulda been ok without it. since you didn't drive yours for the first 60k, it's hard to tell how well it was taken care of. so in your case, it might have been a good choice to get the 100k

If Kelly Blue Book is any indication, you did quite alright on both cars. Now relax and enjoy them!

Sounds like good numbers to me. I got my 05 Trix XR AWD with the body kit, fogs, leather wheel, 16" alloys, 6 disc in dash, moonroof, etc. For $18,000 with 28k on it. Bought a year and a half ago as a Certified Pre-Owned, so I got my 7yr. 100k powertrain. No need for extended.
Welcome to the site - please post pics!Sounds like you did all right by price. I bought my '05 AWD with 33k miles on it back in September for $15,300. It was a GM Certified so I did get the 5 year 100K warranty.
You paid about what I did Jmpn.I had a few less miles, and the Toyota I guess had a little higher resale for whatever reason. Other than that I would think the only difference would be the warranty coverage as well. 5/100 vs. 7/100.
Those numbers sounds really good to me! I got an '04 with 31,500 miles for about 12k back in October. Nothing extra just automatic doors and windows. I wanted a sunroof soooo bad!! i think I'm gonna look for the sun & sound package when i get my next Vibe.we want pics!!!
I scoured Craig's List religiously within a 75 mile radius and had cash on hand to buy from an qwner - cash speaks to lower the price. I did make a big mistake in my heading tho. The I actually have an '05 and '06 NOT an '07. Didn't catch it and I'm embarrassed. But they both have the sun roof and music extras. I twas hard to hang back till a sunroof came along. Owners tried to talk me into theirs without the sun. I figured if I was going to pay this much, I'd get what I really wanted. Hope your next one has that sunny roof too! Going to FL in March and I plan on using it. -7 here in WI now. Awful. Go Packers!
