i know the prices of hid are coming down, but if you google that xentec brand you'll find some other forums where people bought them and havent had issue. but like I say...you get what you pay for.
seems decent, but they really screw ya up the old (removed) with the shipping costs though, i'd definitly get a set, but got other payments to finish first

A lot of people are making the cash on the shipping, that is a fact. But looking at these I may really really have to consider this purchase, especially since my Bday is coming up in February. Now a set of these with my HIRs in my fogs with the yellow overlays, very nice setup for sure on a Black Trix.Question is 6k or 8k. I don't want deep blue, but I want them to be somewhat legal in color and noticeably an HID.
I never bought ebay HID's, i got both of my kits from a site called superhids.com. Both performed beautifully and I only had a slight issue once with the low beam/high beam shutter jamming. I was able to fix it myself though. Sadly, the site has long since gone under. I certainly did not get a bargain...i paid 200-300 per kit at the time...but like i said, no problems. My advice: Look at the sellers history, if you can, find other users who have bought HID kits from the seller. Email them, ask them if they have any problems with their kits. Use their feedback as your indicator if you should buy or not. Also use general seller feedback as a guideline.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
From what I"ve seen this guy has a 99.3% approval rating with a few negatives. Shipping took long, but I could attribute that to people paying by check, waiting for it to clear or the fact that they come from LA so an East Coaster has a longer wait like myself would.Others claim no contact on a defective part, and communication issues. But for the amount he has sold over 2,000 I would expect a few defects here and there, hopefully if I get them, mine won't have them. But it also states that the ballasts come with a warranty for defect. Plus Xentec seems to have a good rating online. They were created by Phillips I guess and Xentec took the product and made it more reliable or something. Apparently they are used by Toyota's.
