Please tell me they make a touch up paint for this, LOL. The metallic light silver plastic piece (of....) that surrounds the A/C controls and stereo. Today I saw what I *thought* was dirt on it, scratched at it with my nail and the PAINT CAME OFF! Doh! I now have a lovely small black line where I had scratched it. ****!! It looks like crap!!(still kicking myself for scratching it...I should've known the interior parts paint would be bad too) Any suggestions? Thanks!
This is true not just for your car but all, it does scratch easily. I do not know of specific paint for it but you could try to match it up. The plastic panels of todays cars are painted and do not have color all the way through like many years ago. I have bought Testors model paint and touched up my Cavalier radio when I scratched it myself. Looked great when done!Otherwise buy a new one and clear coat it to give it much better protection.

I don't think touch up paint will hide it very well.Every time you get into the Vibe,it will stick out like a sore thumb and bug the hell out of you.I would say wrap it in vinyl.Check out Rvinyl, they have super cheap kits and they have a color that closely matches the cover,at least then you won't have to worry about scratching it again..

Touch up would work depending on the size of the scratch. My Cavalier was small but I could see it. My fingernail scratched it. May have to mix a couple paints to get the right color...
