Online dealer source for discounted OEM parts?

Post by BoostFrenzy »

Getting that pesky P0420 code on an 03 w/ 165k miles, going to need to order both O2 sensors and a new cat, where's the best place to order? List is high on these parts.

Try http://gmpartsdirect.com/ Watch the shipping costs though.

Yikes!!! That's worse than I thought. I never ordered from them but heard you had to balance the savings with the shipping costs. $5.00 total would be a more realistic shipping price. You could try Ebay. They have Bosch O2 sensors for $22.50 shipped. I put one on my Subaru 8 months ago and it's still going strong.

I avoid GMPD only because of their insane shipping.I've had lots of satisfaction with http://www.partszoneonline.com. When you check out, they have a comments section, I always write "please use cheapest shipping method, parts not urgent" and they'll send it usually USPS (depending on the part) for a very reasonable cost.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

I've posted it before, but I'll repeat it here, again. GMPD is not a very good source due to extremly high shipping fees, and the fact you cannot return ANYTHING. That said, there are better deals, but the best one might be at your local dealership. Ask for a discount, the worst thing that will happen is they say NO.
