Heres a good one...Not even 30,000 Miles on my 2006 Vibe and the Radio Display (LCD) is half burnt out. It happened 2 days ago and yes it has a antenna relay installed for the sirius, however that shouldnt matter because all that does is amplify the signal strength. You would figure with the ever growing technology of the L.E.D light, Delphi would not be using old school bulbs in their stereos. Anyways, has anyone else had this issue, and did the dealer give you any static over this issue? The stereo is one of the Delphi/Delco standard CD Players attached to the sun and sound package.

Very common with Vibe radios. Mine did the same(left 1/3) just out of warranty. If you get in a '66 Chevy I bet the radio still lights up with a million miles on it. Original engine too.
I also have a stereo from an 84 Cadillac Eldorado (symphony Sound Series) the Amber LED Display and Tape Deck Still works

thats cause back then everything was sheet metal and stuff..now adays it's either stainless steel or plastic..lol...but i had a similar problem with the stock radio in my sunfire..so i just bought an aftermarket one..easiest way to go..cause to repair the radio is probably like $150 or so..might aswell spend the extra $50 and get a decent aftermarket one

So, it's not LED illumination in there? Huh... The center 1/3 on my display is out. Makes it kinda difficult to read the display during the day.
finally, after 4 weeks the radio was replaced, if this happens again, i think i will replace it with something a little sweeter...

Our '05 GT left third went out also. Dealer replaced right before the warrenty ended. I was already planning an aftermarket upgrade but wanted the original fixed just to have it right.
