65 degrees and bikes galore!

Post by Merzbow »

I dunno where all of you Michigan people have gone to but I think it's high time to crawl out of your caves Last night I went out with a friend and cruised around a bit. My temp. gauge went up to 66 last night. ALLLL kinds of bikes out last night of all different kinds. I was enjoying myself for the first time since before the hospital end of July! What have you all been up to?

Yeah, last weekend the snow/ice/slush here in Denver finally melted on the roads. Tons of bikes out and about. Of course, my side street was still frozen over (blasted shade), so my bike sat in the garage.

Nice to hearthat Paul.... so you got your lisense back lately?? I'm sure you had a blast, a real "pick me up" for sure... I know up here it was great, not 65, but more like 55, still it was nice to see the ground again... It's funny, my dogs have been so used to peeing in the snow, our femail penolope went out and found the last patch of snow to pee on...lol... this was just after she got over peeing on our "grasslike" welcome mat... lolI know i've been loving the warm, but I know it's going to be short lived and well soon be getting a month of below 20 again... It's ok though, I got my garage insulated finally and can get out and work on the subies sound system regardless... cheers

Ha, Don't have the license back yet, only 12 more days though! A week from this Monday. I might be using the bike anyways for work so I might be investing in a heated riding suit I wish my garage was insulated. I want to fix my garage up. Maybe I'll buy epoxy for the floor first THEN do insulation or drywall and all that....hmm....BTW you were ride Sublime, back down to freezing temps lol.
