The California Storm

Post by gr8vibe »

Pray for us! Well, for me rather. Talk around town is that this is the biggest storm to hit in like 2 years or something. Its all over TV. Since about midnight last night, its been hella windy and rainy. Car crashes, downed trees, powerlines. So far, im hearing it will get better tonight, but wont clear up until wed. hmmmm. Monopoly anyone?

My thoughts are with you. Next up, send some good vibes my way. The weather has turned drastically since this morning and it isn't looking good for southern Utah.

I'm currently on the central coast, near SLO, it is blowing and pouring. Have to drive back to the OC tomorrow, hope it lets up.

Today marks the 10th anniverary of the '98 Ice Storm of Eastern Ontario and Quebec. 125 people died. 1 million people without hydro for weeks. Millions of trees knocked down. 30,000 hydro poles broken in Ontario alone. California will make it through, no problem.

Big problem here is heavy rain in the burned areas from the brushfires.
