This is what im looking at putting in my vibe..Has anybody found a good place for a cd changer?Also, any suggestions on what to put below the receiver? It's half the size of the factory receiver. Try putting the CD changer under the passenger seat. That's where the factory puts the 6-disc unit when you order it with the nav system.

G-SHOCK PROTECTION!!!!!! Great Choice on the radio. I also have a SONY CDX-m630 in my vibe. I have the same problem with the extra space. I was going to put an separate EQ on the bottom, but you can't connect a separate EQ to the radio because there is already one built in. (duh). So far I don't have any advice for that. As far as mounting the changer. I'll find out from Circut City roadshop how that will work (they installed my entire MONSTER AUDIO system) I'm thinking under the seat is the last resort because of the vents underneath and hard access to switch magazines since you have a 10-disc verses the 6-disc factory changer. I'm thinking the glove box maybe. It looks large enough for that one but I know it will fit for the SONY changer that I want (proclaimed the world's smallest CD changer) I'm really put the changer off for now because I'm already up to $2000.00 in aftermarket audio.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Batmobile:2003 Abyss18 inch Enkei wheels with Nitto NT555 ZR rated tires. With a 10 disc mp3 changer i dont think i'll be changing cd's very much.. ((700 mb x 10 cd's)/5 mb per song = 1400 songs) So the location is not that important, but if it's in a place where people can see it when they ride in the car, i'd be happy That way i can show of the stuff i've got..Do you have any links to the model you chose? Or maybe pictures of your own ride?

Crutchfield has that for $1999.00 (funny we have the same taste) but you are better off getting the SONY PACKAGE for around the same price. You get an Audio receiver with a 7 inch screen ($999.00) and a 10-disc DVD/CD player for ($999.00) the difference, you can store and play more DVD's get better quality and hook up your existing SONY radio (the 7 inch screen becomes and central command station for additional add ons-Sony Radio, DVD changer etc. etc.) for the same price as that Clarion. ($2000.00) CHECK IT OUT

That is a sweet system, found one for $1299 on ebay and bought it, supposed to be new in box. I can't wait to see how it is. I am going to put it in my '93 cobra mustang since I have the nav system in my vibe. I am going to put an overhead console in the vibe hopefully next month though.

cool, so all i need is a Kenwood KHD-CX910 and 5 cartriges for it kinda pricey, but pretty cool
