Where are you going to locate the amp? If you are going to put it near the front of the car, you can look for the rubber grommet in your firewall. I installed my amp in the back and ran the wire under the car and zip tied it to the brake lines and up thru the rubber grommet in the spare tire well.

Hi and Welcome to GenVibe...!!!If you drill a hole PLEASE PLEASE use a grommit in the firwall, a PLASTIC one would be preferable over rubber, if you are in fact using 1/0g wire as it's quite heavy... What are you running that you need 1/0g wire??? I know i'm using 1/0g for my Rockford Power 1000 5ch, But i'm also shooting for the highest quality I could from the power, my install DOES NOT require 1/0g at all... I could easily get away with 4g, but my battery is also relocated in the trunk and i'm looking for un-impeeded current transfer(back to the motor and from the Alt. to the batt.)... So, what are the install plans?? (former installer here BTW)

Are you the OP that started that thread?? Ok, so you are installing amps, what amps, where are you going to put them, what else are you running? If you are new to this, you might have considered asking some questions up front to get a little starting advise... Anyhoo, let's hear what you got going on.,.,,
