I have see similar products on the Show "It Takes a Theif" used to be on Discovery Channel. They installed that on a lot of homes. You could beat on the glass for a long time and not break through..

Wasn't there a similar product developed for areas where hurricanes were a threat?

wonder when they'll bring that shattersafe stuff to vehicles to prevent theif..and i understand that it is a safety issue if u were in a crash and they had to get u out through the window..but it would still be nice..specially for us tuners with the sound systems and stuff

I remember it being on "It takes a thief" on Discovery Channel, but I thought they put it on both sides and even though they say its clear I'm not sure you'd want to be looking through it all the time on the car. It might be a good idea for side windows though. Probably not cheap either.

Would hate to have that for my car, what if I needed to get out in an emergency? I couldn't break my own windows...
