one please Actually in all honesty, they use a cold cathode ring instead of LEDs. They are much brighter and evenly distribute the light. You can get cold cathode rings anywhere for cheap. Go to a computer website and you will see tons of colors. Kids use them to decor their desktops and put them around things like their fans and such. Instead of dropping $199 on a kit, why not investigate them and pay less. One issue you will have is that you do not have projectors or circular headlights, so the only place they would make sense would be around the foglamp.I am working on a white LED project when I pull my lamps apart to black them out. I plan on adding a few 3-4 LEDs on each lamp in unison, kinda like the new Audi's
ok so i sent an email to them..just got the reply.....heres what i asked them...1. are these street legal..or recommended for offroad use only2. do you offer a model for the pontiac vibe headlights and or foglights or would you have to do it custom...3. how much would it cost for you to install them if i were to ship them (aprox.)4. how do you control them...would they turn on automatically in my vibe..or would i have to wire a different switchheres their answer...1) Yes, street legal. They are just an additional DRL. 2) We do not but we can make a custom set. 3) $199 for the Custom Kit and $149 for installation 4) Simply tap to the parking lights. We will ship them back "plug and play" Call ******* here at AAC *** *** **** if you want to get a custom kit made. i still think theyd look reallly cooll.....but 350$ i dunno...
im just afraid of taking apart the headlights myself they do the custom design, installation, even painting........and I have no clue where to find those rings...
