I am legend, have you seen it yet

Post by vibebob »

I saw it this morning and was underwhelmed. Wil Smiths acting is good, but the pace of the movie crawls to a halt at times leaving me bored. The CG characters are well done, although the mutants look like Valdemort on crack. Unoccupied NYC looks greatoverall I'd give the movie a 6 outta 10, the CG 8 outta 10

Saw it opening night...Will Smith did a good job in my opinion and the storyline was nice. The CG "baddies" leave a lot to be desired Vacant NYC... I was impressed with that for sure.I was even curious about the Batman/Superman movie poster in the opening of the movie... maybe Batman vs. Superman?Overall - 8 out of 10The Dark Knight preview was awesome!!!

Sure Will Smith can act, but how was the German Shepherd?

Nope, haven't seen that one. Not too interested. It would probably make me cry for days.

It did leave us in a funk for a day or so, but I'd still call it a good movie. Movies don't ever make me cry, but this one almost did.

Ok, I watched it last night. All in all it was pretty good. There were a few parts where I fast forwarded, like when he was looking for his dog in the dark...yawn...I did like the Cobra in the beginning :-)It was pretty good considering the focus is more on his emotional issues than actual monster fighting. I would preferred a little more "Resident Evil" type action but such is life.

These parts weren't disturbing....they were downright dull.First one was the 20 minutes he spent in that dark place looking for the dog.....zzzzzzzAnd you would think with all the technology he had access to he would have a 3 million candlepower spotlight instead of that tiny flashlight. But I digress......

yeah there were dull areas, but one disturbing scene, but i won't ruin it for others who still plan to see it. but the first time seeing the zombies when he was looking for his dog... they reminded me of the zombie nurses in 'silent hill'

I think it could of been better, they didnt play off him going as crazy as they could have since he was alone. And come on the zombies had some ridiculous super human powers....... otherwise i say it was decent, glad i watched it.
