New 2 the site..

Post by busa1300 »

Hello i am new to the site just signed up the other day. I dont have a vibe yet but will be ordering a 2009 as soon as the dealer say they can order them. I had been looking into getting a vibe for a while now and seen pics of the new one and decided to wait. I am primaraly getting one for the gas milage and looks. I have a few friends that have them at work and they really like them. My current ride is a 01 DeVille. I have it narrowed down between 2 differnt sets of wheel for the summer (going to run stockers in the winter and nice one in the summer). Kinda of bummed I have to wait to get it now.Keith

I was looking at possibly getting rid of my 03 600RR for an 08 busa, but the 08-09 Duc 848 is looking pretty nice too... oh yeah, and welcome.

Well I did have a couple of bike last year but I sold them. I had a 99 Busa Copper with a MCXpress turbo system on it. 300HP @ the Rear wheel and the 97 Sportster it was far from stock also. 1200cc Jugs bored to 1340cc with cams, it would run a 1340 no problem. Here are some Pics. as requested. I have had a few other bikes also a couple of Honda CBR 900RR's both turbocharged,a CBR 600, an Yamaha RZ 500, a Yamaha TZ 250. The Busa was by far the best bike I have owned. Thanks 4 the welcome all...1999 Busa Copper non-restricted top speed 220Mph Gearing limited1997 HD Sproster 883

NICE!!!!I've been seriously thinking about getting the new busa... but If I did, I'd want to do more to it than I could afford. (kind of like what you had already done with yours) turbo, strechted swingarm, I'd really want to do a single sided, lowered, just make it look crazy.... but I don't have 50k or more to spend...I'll probably just keep the 600RR and buy a SPS (Sucker Punch Sally) custom.

Well I didn't wait because of a few factors so I bought a 08 vibe. Neptune blue. It is basically loaded except for 16" wheels (that will change this summer) and side curtain air bags. I have had to get use to it but so far I really like it. i have already replaced the wiper blades with bosch Icons and the headlight with Silverstar ultras.

09 with 1.8l motor: No leather seats,no 17" rims, no monsoon, no sunroof08 has all the above.if you want an 09 with any options you have to get the 2.4l motor.. Plus the 2K rebate on the 08 didn't hurt either.

yeah there's almost always a catch somewhere. you could've taken it to some upholstery, stereo, and sunroof shops and had all that taken care of well you still got a new vibe, and you didn't hafta wait
