Other than following the items listed in your post, the easiest thing would be to reseat your gas cap. The system will eventually reset itself if that is actually the problem, however it may take longer than Friday before finding out. You could always pull the negative cable off the battery for a few minutes to fully reset the system. If it isn't the gas cap, then the other issues listed would probably need to be seen at the shop.Your vehicle should be under warranty unless you drove over the mileage alloted so there will be no charge for fixing the problem.

Welcome to GenVibe! Check all your vacuum lines in the engine bay as well to make sure they are all connected.

Did you just fill up with gas and the light popped on just under a full tank? If so then I had this problem a month ago, only my CEL was a P0440.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=30284The fuel cap on mine needed to be unscrewed and then re-tightened. It was the first thing that I checked, but it didn't go off right away. The auto mechanic told me that the computer will run a self diagnostic between 3/4 and 1/4 tank of gas, and it should shut off on it's own. And mine shut off at 3/4 tank.So if you are between full and 3/4 just unscrew the cap and re-tighten it and wait to see if it shuts off on it's own at 3/4 of a tank. If not then it is not your fuel cap.Good Luck!
