Decisions, decisions

Post by shane_c »

Well since I sold my Vibe a few months ago to relocate across the country I've been trying to figure out what my next vehicle should be. I was dead set on a used Forester for a little while, then on the Jeep Patriot and quickly thought about others like the Focus Wagon. But after weighing all the pros and cons, I’ve made up my mind, I think. I’m thinking it would be best to get another Vibe. I absolutely loved the one I had and had no issues with it and it gets better mileage than the other vehicles I was considering which is important since I’m doing quite a bit of driving. What I’m hoping is that I’ll be able to get a good deal on a 2008 once the new ones come out. So it’ll be a few more months of waiting but that’s what I’m hoping for right now.

You are making a wise decision. Not only sticking with a Vibe, but also going with the 08 and not 09.
Bye Bye Vibe.............

Good choice! The only downfall between the one's you were looking at is the forrester is AWD, whereas the 08 vibe isn't (makes calgary winters that much easier.) A buddy of mine picked up a forrester last month and I had a chance to drive it around. It's a pretty good rig. Over the patriot and the focus however, I'd take the vibe hands down.
