Well it happened again, I cleaned out the thing with an air can but still get the issue. I tried to reset my Tiger Woods guy in the file, but alls it pulled up was his face, hair, body, etc. Couldn't wear any clothes, no attributes, money, clubs, etc. Still considered a novice.Anyways, I took a picture of the error message, if you guys/gals could give me a little how-to on this it would be appreciated greatly. I am not entirely knowledgeable on the workings of what it tells me to do, i.e. disabling drivers, changing video adapters, BIOS updates?
Yes on a side note I have Media Center Editin XP and a few months back before the screens started popping up, my Media Center stopped playing movies, when I insert a DVD it tries to go there to open them but cannot. I have resorted to using Windows Media Player to watch films since then.
The infamous BSOD (blue screen of death). This could be several different things. You could have a bad memory module, corrupt sector on your hard drive, bad memory on video card or it could be corrupt windows drivers. You could start by backing up your docs, pics and music to a flash drive or CD and reinstalling windows. It won't cost anything but a little time. If the problem is still there, it's hardware related and unless you're comfortable swapping parts yourself, I would take it to a local computer shop for diagnosis.
Usually the standard questions would be along the lines of...Have you installed anything new prior to this problem happening? Any new hardware or software? A lot of BSOD's are caused by new hardware or failing hardware. However, new software installs or drivers can also cause BSOD's. Also, does this only happen during the game? And, did it ever work correctly? Knowing this info will help narrow down the cause.

lol, never heard of ITD, but I'm sure thats not it. I really don't keep that stuff on my laptop, I use it for music downloading, playing Tiger Woods, occasional Second Life and Internet purchasing.I kinda feel it could be a video issue since it started shortly after I was unable to access the Media Center DVD player. Any ideas on a fix
Can you post the model # of your laptop, I'll find the latest video drivers for you and post a link to it. You can then download and update the drivers. If it's the video card itself, you got a problem. It's usually built into the motherboard on a laptop and can't be replaced without buying a new motherboard. If it ends up being hard drive or memory, no big deal, they can be swapped out.
It's a Dell PPL20Mother F'er did it again in the middle of the game. There is like a million things running in my background, here is a listing of them. 68 in totalgoogledesktip.execcapp.exeissch.execli.exesyntpenhquicksetststrawltraytw2007~e5.0001ehmsaswuaucltehtraycleexplorerati2evxxmemonitorquickdcfdlgreader_slsqlmangrwmiprvsectfmonalgdllhostqttaskipodservicemdmmcrdsvcehschedehrecvrmsnmsgrccsvchstgoogletoolbarnotifieraluschedulersvcapplemobiledeviceservicespoolsvbcmwltrywltrysvcappsvc32ccsvchstsvchostsvchostsvchostsvchostsvchostati2evxxcoreviewpointservicelsassserviceswinlogoncsrsssmsssvchostsvchostgoogledesktopindexituneshelperniconfigsvctaskmgrtfswctrlsqlservrsystemsystem idle processYes I know some are doubles or more, how the hell can I stop all these processes from running all the time in the back. It's obnoxious.
go to run and type msconfig, then hit enter or click ok, go to the tab titled Startup. if you have any questions reguarding stuff in there take screenshots and post them. it helps if you extend out the command block so you can see the file addresses and what program they relate toyou should have no issues disabling stuff related to itunes or google. the ones that begin with eh are related to media center
wow, you need to get hijackthis and copy the output and send that to me to look over...you have lots of crap up in that thing. msconfig is okay but the registry is where all the start up stuff is..specially the secret stealth junk
