NUMMI whistleblower lawsuit

Post by prathman »

Noticed this story in our paper about a lawsuit against NUMMI by an employee who claims vehicle defects were ignored and that the company retaliated against her when she filed complaints.http://www.insidebayarea.com/s...49541Not clear from the article on the merits of the case. Personally, we have no complaints yet about our two '06 Vibes and the Vibe and other NUMMI vehicles seem to continue getting good marks for quality and reliability from independent media.

Hmm, very interesting! Good job, NUMMI - sweep those things under the rug. Your customers don't need working seat belts, c'mon! Sheesh. I'd like to think people (especially the government) would like to know about that. But anyway, we are talking about the mighty Toyota here, so none of that negative stuff should ever get out as it wrecks their plans for world domination! I wonder if the whole exploding window thing was on the hush-hush list too? None of this really surprises me, sadly.
