Strange beeping sound in car

Today I was sitting in my 05 vibe at lunch, I had the car running as it was 25 degrees outside. Anyways I heard a strang beep that seemed to come from the speakers. I turned off the fan and I heard it every minute. I noticed that my low gas light was on, does the vibe alert you when your gas is low other than the light? I went to the gas station and filled the tank and the beeping stopped. This is the first time that I ever noticed this. I am going to let the gas get low again just to see if it happens again. Well if anyone has ever heard this let me know.

Ran down to the light a few times, and have never had a beep...

My 04 has never made a beep for low fuel and i visit the low light alot. One trip with light on for around 60 miles. No beeps.

You Vibe will self-destruct in 5 minutes....LOL! No, I never heard a beep when fuel indicator light was on or any other time for that matter. Maybe your cell phone battery was low and "IT" was warning you.

Thats what I thought also maybe a bomb, who knows it stopped now just have to wait for that light one more time.

I was reading my PM mag and they actually had a question in the car clinic about this. They point to the cell phone for this.

But the thing that is strang is that it did quit when I filled it back up with gas. The cell phone was fully charged and no new messages, who knows we will all find out soon.

the car is picking up the cell talking to the tower which they always do. This happens when the car audio sys. has a noise shield weak spot. Then again it could have been BIG DADDY. he is watching you know. LOL
