Strut Bellows

Post by Petrucci914 »

My strut bellows around my struts are torn to shreads and not really protecting anything anymore. I can get new ones for $30, but putting them on would require taking the strut apart. Is there an easier way? Could I cut a slit and then melt the pieces back together?

I haven't done this on the Vibe, but on my cavalier,I did cut them and used a high temp silicone to hold them together. They held up 3 years, with lots of driving.
