WHELAN!!!!! - You are the Detailing Guru

Post by BIGGMIKE88 »

Thanks bro for all the advice I tried the filter and that made a hughe difference. I also bought this wax at the State Fair and tried it on my 94 honda first and it works great so I wax the vibe today and it shines better than new. I have been looking for that waffle towel you suggested. Is it available at a local store or do you have to order it online? Thanks again you are the man Thanks MIKE

Thanks for the praise and I'm glad I could help. That Water Magnet towel can be found at your local Autozone, AdvanceAuto, Pep Boys, O'Reillys, etc. They may be under a different name and different venodr than Meguiar's but its the same material and design. If you prefer the Meg's though, head to http://www.autodetailingsolutions.comQuote, originally posted by kevera »Whelan is the man and I owe him som cigars. Anytime you wanna ship those, I prefer Dominican's.

a good place to get really good cheap towels is WALMART, yes WALMART. go to the kitchen department and look for a 2 pack of white waffle weave towels for like 2-3 bucks.i dont really care for the megiars ww because it seems a little too hard on the paint. the walmart ones are softer and a lot cheaper.

The fac that my car is black doesn't help much either, but I used the kitchen style ones and got more hazed swirls. I have a metallic flec in the car but if it's not detailed right, it just looks flat black, takes some work to get it to show. But with drying, I keep using the meg's cause it holds a lot more water.

thats why you buy like 6 packs and use like 3-4 towels per wash and just wash it after you use it.
