Kenwood DNX7100 Install

Post by lindy100 »

G'Day,I'm looking to install this unit, with the bluetooth and Traffic options:http://kenwoodusa.com/Car_Ente...X7100Questions for ya'll:1. Does anyone have experience with this unit, or an in-dash after market GPS install into the Vibe?2. Supposedly it doesn't require a wiring harness.. is that the case in general?3. FM or XM Traffic Info.. which is better? (FM is free and I have no need for XM Radio at this time)That's it for now.. many thanks in advance.James

I NEVER recommend double DIN units though, they are a theft waiting to happen, you can't hide it unless the screen comes off and from what I saw it doesn't... Most ALL aftermarket head unit REQUIRE a harness to connect to the car, I honestly don't know of a single one that doesn't need one... see my install post... that's the best i got for ya, unless you have more install related questions... You may wish to ask about the functionality of it on http://www.DIYMA.com... Good luck, Cheers,Aaron
