Vibe Questions

Post by jade99 »

Hello, I have a 2005 vibe it is not in warrenty anymore and this just started to happen (of course when it is out of warrenty) The air an heat in my car only works when it is full blast, Does any one know why? What do I need to do to get it replaced? How much do you think it will cost. I just had the oil change and they said everything is fine with no leaks. I really can not afford to spend that much money for it. Please let me know what you think needs to be replaced

does it do the same with the cold air aswell? if so it'll probably be a blower resistor, as for how much it is including labour, im not sure since i get discounts and half labour charges, but i believe the part is about $40-50

Hi jade,I noticed my lo setting seemed to be off then my next setting up barely blew air, only my 3rd setting really had any force to it. I recently replaced my cabin air filter and now it blows better in all settings. You might want to check your cabin filter first. Since you're not getting any air at all, it probably isn't this but it still might need to be changed anyway. and just in case it's clogged and isn't letting air through, it might be an easy fix.Dave
