Well I got my extra TB back from maxbore. So I went to install it today... the coolant line part I was trying to take off the stock TB...well one of the screws didnt want to come off, so its stripped. I got a strip screw removal kit, just waiting for the drill. But the screw is so soft as it is I am unsure it will work. I may just end up putting stock back on and seeing if Toyota can order the part Monday...crap im gone... see if my roommate can get the part....this is nuts...all that for a bored tb
well its in. I feel some more (removed) power low mid to high, I think the umph kicks in a little lower now too....mmmm so far i like it, when i left off the gas the cai goes pssst its neat...built in turbo i guess

If i can ever let off the gas pedal i could get a accurate reading maybe :s lol
hahah i had to install it in the dark too...but I like it, since it was in the dark I didnt get pics of what it looks like! :S im so bad...maybe when I do the coolant line mod? if i do Ill take it off and snap a pic. I can grab the pics from a member on 9th gen that also had it done though.
mmm an update:with my throttle rotor installed, this thing is better at ALL rpms!! oh its nice almost thought it was adams SC'd vibe for a min its louder, faster at the top end rpm and quicker at take off. Of course its still a little laggy at the low rpm (like stock) but better. for 135 (pretty sure) its a worth while upgrade glade I did it, specially with my cai and soon to be ported exhaust headers

You have that rotor at the lowest setting, right? Does that cause the idle RPM to go up a lot?

Well with my stock TB it idled like 200rpm higher, but with my bored one I tweaked the cable and idle bar so its at more of a stock idle.
