2003 vibe base model. question= are they 1zz engines and the gt models are 2zz ?

well...if you dont want it to run in limp mode i run premium gas in the 1zz when i want to race the v8's

haha NorthSunny, have to= no but that is what it is tuned for, using something less for a period of time could cause issues but theres no guarantee that it will (as far as i know)

It won't damage the engine to run 87 through it instead of 91. In fact, at most you would just see some loss of power - but not a great deal. If you for some reason did actually start to experience knock, then you would need to switch to a higher grade gas...
