I use to have a 2003 Vibe Gt. Im looking at a 2004 Vibe GT now. Can someone tell me for sure if an Injen CAI will work from my 2003 and also my TRD exhaust. I have heard that the intake will not work because something on the intake changed?? I also think the HP dropped from the 03 is that true.

HP did not drop, the way the numbers are calculated changed so lots of cars had drops in their numbers I think it went from 180 to 164 or something. But no loss in power, same engine. As for the intake, they are identical. Nothing changed in 03-04, 05+ base and GT models had the throttle bodies changed to Drive By Wire (DBW), the 04 should still be Cable driven.
i think only the base changed to dbw, the gt and awd stayed throttle cableboca, i dont have a gt so i'm not positive but you shouldnt have any issues. why the change to an 04?
I thought 04s had the air pump. That would create a CAI issue. Exhaust should be fine.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
i'm pretty sure '04 has some kind of smog pump that the '03 didn't have, which causes created a small change in the CAI-edit-yep, after looking around that is the case.

the hp did change from 03 to 04 due to the new smog pump in the 2zz. no, your 03 CAI will not fit on an 04 and vice versa, however, your exhaust should fit without any problems.
