Yep...happens all the time. You won't even see my cat but as soon as you get up, he takes over. He doesn't even give you a thank you for warming up a spot for him!

I think the worst I have seen is my cousin's cat, doesn't matter where you sit the cat will come and sleep under your legs. his favorite spot is at the front of the couch. the only thing is he likes to do this when you aren't looking and usually you will get up and step on his tail. I'm begining to think he likes it or something!

My parents' dog, Beauregard is much the same. He takes whatever seat he can get even if you're currently sitting in it. Of course, he fancies himself a human and loves to lay against the pillows on the sofa if he can. Here he is relaxing after a hard day's work guarding the house... yeah, guarding with his eyes closed.

The thing you people are all forgetting is that it is their spot ... they sleep there all day while you are at work, making money to buy their food.

What do you mean his spot? I'm sitting right there most of the day. Of course with any luck, that will change soon. Oh, I hope it's soon...
