I haven't been real impressed with the TT. I drove one a few years ago, and it was quick, but not very comfortable. I'm only 5'8" and i couldn't fit comfortably in the car. They are really good looking though

My wife had an A4 as a company car, her boss drove a TT convertable. A few years back his two kids came to stay with him, he and my wife swapped cars for the summer becuase you really shouldn't have three people in a two seater. I absolutlety loved the TT....I would grab the keys in the evening, tell my wife I was running to the store for a soda and drive to a gas station 60 miles away (there is one two miles from my house, you get the point) just to drive with the top down. I'm not a small guy...6 foot...270ish and I was comfortable in the car. I loved everything about that car...
my neighbor has a yellow convertible top for sale. they're nice, but still slow. my buddy has a red TT, completely modded out, FMIC, huge turbo, etc. it's rather lame running him at the track because he MIGHT run a high 13 with all that on there! don't buy it for performance! if you want that in a roadster 2 seater type vehicle, buy a new GXP Solstice or Saturn Sky Redline!
I always thought they cam two ways, one with a 4, and one with a twin turbo. Maybe I was wrong. The new ones look less girlish for sure, but I think I'd pass. Give me a 1 series convertible for the cost.
I like the TT, but would never own one... There quirky, funky... You sit WAY down in them.. Forget putting your arm on the door, it's up at your chin... No room to put anything, no place for decent stereo gear and if you do find places, there goes your place for your duffel bag... As much as i like them, i'd only have one if i didn't have to DD it... Mods a plenty though
