The G8 is rear wheel drive only. Not AWD.

The Torrent is getting the axe in favor of two options. A newly designed SUV based off the new generation of Equinox Chevy's. Or leaving the SUV altogether in favor of sticking with sedans, coupes, and hatchbacks. Pontiac is in the midst of returning it's nameplate as a performance division of Chevy, Saturn is working on moving upmarket and trying to take aim eventually at Acura. Chevy is competing directly against Toyota/Honda/Ford and Cadillac is aiming towards the Lexus to BMW people. AWD will return on the 09 Vibe/Matrix that is a fact, as well as an XRS/GT model. Engine choices still remain a huge debate too.
