No more "Time" :(
I just called 853-1212 (prefix may be different where you live) for the time and got a recording "Effective September 19, 2007, the time announcement information service has been discontinued. We apologize for any inconvenience."I've known that number for well over 30 years. I think that was the first phone number I ever knew (asside from my home number). We still have it in Dallas 844-4444. Either 214 or 972 area code. I did not try the 469,817 or 682 area codes yet.And yes people you read that right, the DFW metroplex has 5 area codes. Pain in the (removed) to remember phone numbers.
