Got my WeatherTech floormats, Opinions please!

Post by Kamikaze »

So I got my WeatherTech Floor mats today, and I'm not sure if I'm happy with them. They don't fit as good as I would have hoped for, for $100.When I got them for my Mom's Camry they fit perfect, you couldn't see any of the carpet on the floor. The ones I got don't match the factory floor mats, attached are some pictures:WeatherTech on top of Vibe mat:Vibe mat on top of WeatherTech:What do you think I should do:

honestly..you should move the mat up more..the 2 holes in the bottom of the mat are for those little hooks on the floor almost under the seat..so the mat should be up another inch or 2 and it'll look better

Here is one pic that I have. The fit very good, just like the carpet ones and also have holes in them to use the hooks. I will try to get some more for you.

Those aren't good for places that snow. They don't look they would hold much slush and snow.

You would be suprised at how much mud and water they hold from job sites that I have to go to.If you get the fronts, make sure you get the rears to complete the set.

For mud and stuff it's OK.But snow and salty slush, they wouldn't work for me.The ridges don't hold enough juice. Then it spills on the carpet, and makes a mess of it.

I have the rubber Vibe mats, and from I can see, I would rather have the Vibe mats. The Weathertech ridges don't appear to be any deeper than the Vibe mats, and the Vibe mats are a much better fit. The honeycomb design of the Vibe mats really hold the goop. But it's your money, so it's your choice.

I would rather the rubber Vibes ones over the weathertech ones. But both of them wouldn't hold up with all the winter mess we get.Plus,do you guys get snow in Virginia.

Wow, I've never seen such a crappy set of WeatherTech's. The GMSPO version fits perfect and holds plenty of water, mud, snow, ect...I'd go that route before I kept those ill-fitting things. IMHO, YMMV, ect.
