UPDATE: Bad noise

Post by wyatt89 »

brought my car into the dealership yesterday at 5 o clock and told them that i was hearing a nasty, tinny noise from the cat/midpipe region and asked them to check it out. instead of telling them i got effing airborne, i just told them i bottomed my car out hard (believable where i live) well after waiting a day i got a call and evidentially one of the exhaust hangers got bent to hell and was rubbing on the inside of the body when i was accelerating and cornering. *whew* 68 bucks is worth it to know that nothing else is wrong!the vibe lives on...for now...

I still think you should take it to a tire store for an alignment. Even if it seems to be going straight, hard to imagine it can take that kind of landing and not be out. At the very least, watch out for uneven tire wear.
