Nissan Rogue

Post by Whelan »

The back looks like a Hyundai and the front looks like a Sentra with a facemask. Personally it's fugly, and supposed to compete with the Escape, Rav 4, CR-V. 2.5L I-4160hp175lb. ft. torqueCVT Transmissionopinions? I don't like it.

I was not impressed when I saw it. Give me a CR-V anyday compared to that (if my choice was only a CR-V, Escape, or Rav-4.

Many of the new Nissans look like rhinos to me, including this one. I'm surprised I didn't hear anything about this car before it came out. Maybe because it's so boring.

naw, the movies just hurt me by really breaking down the characters and the concepts of the books to fluff.

At the risk of a post that's back on topic, the Rogue feels very "eh" to me. The Murano looks a little funny, but it's definitely grown on me. This looks like they took the Murano, shrunk it, then smashed in the rear end.Personally, I'm a big fan of the current Rav4. My Aunt has an '07 that's an awfully nice little SUV.

i just saw the commercial for this about an hour ago and i am NOT impressed. the design looks to me like somethin that was rushed in order to make it into the new model year. maybe the x-men rogue touched the designers n sucked all the creativity out of them. but i would let the x-men rogue be my friend

Gloves on she can touch me all she wants.Keeping on topic, Rav 4 V6 AWD FTW! I think it's the best of all the options. And I personally am not a fan of the Muran, the gauges are really weird, they are like little flat clocks sticking right out of the dash, no flow. I am finding the new Ford Edge more appealing though. But if I had a choice it would definitely be between the new VUE (redline of course) and the Rav 4. I cannot stand the new CR-V, it went waaaaay chick.

The show 'Heroes' on NBC featured the Rogue by name and screen shot written into the script/plot on the episode first week of Oct 2007.....How's that for clever product placement?

I saw this thing at the NY auto show last year I think it was, wasn't impressed. And little chance of me being impressed with it now since I had to watch that same stupid commerical for this thing every 10 minutes last night, the one where all the other cars are falling into holes... Wha???? Ugh.Nissan's front end design as of the last several years is gross to me. Can't say I'm a fan. It does look like a Sentra from the front... And from the back, that's totally the new Santa Fe. That's twice now that Hyundai's had their designs ripped off of the same model, Subaru copied and pasted the (removed) of the Santa Fe onto their Tribeca as well. (removed)

I saw the commercial for the Rogue about 2 weeks ago. I kinda liked it first couple times I saw the commercial. Then I decided to pull it up online and check out the specs... HORRIBLE gas mileage! 22-27? They shoulda been able to do alot better than that I would think... After seeing that, I'll stick with my VGT (at least til the 09 comes out )
