joholste is October 2007 GenVibe Member of the Month (MotM) Congratulations Joe!joholste received this nomination just before this month's cutoffQuote, originally posted by "9/30/2007" »Name: joholsteReason:Joe has been an active participating member on Genvibe for over 3 years. He is currently serving his country in the armed forces overseas, and still has kept contact with Genvibe. Before his departure, he had attended Vibe meets and has always been helpful both on and off Genvibe. He has shared his personal life in his postings on Genvibe, which makes it easy to get to know him. I wish him a very safe return to the States and to his new wife.He also received this noination a while backQuote, originally posted by "12/27/2006" »Name: joholsteReason:I wish to nominate joholste for Genvibe Member of the Month. Joe has been a participating member for about 2-1/2 years, and has over 1000 posts. But it is what he does with his life in his relatively few years, that seems outstanding. His enthusiasm and friendliness shows in all aspects of his life. Regarding Genvibe, he has participated in a couple of the meets held on the east coast. One in particular, the New Jersey meet, he attended after driving over 200 miles one-way, and was instrumental in its success. His friendly personality, broad knowledge of many subjects, coordinating abilities in respect to the placement of the vehicles and restaurant for pictures, and his numerous high-quality photographs (including the only pic of the restaurant meet), all contributed to the success of the meet. In addition, he has coordinated his life to be successful in what would take others many more years to achieve. These successes include a marriage, and the purchase of a new home in the vicinity of Washington DC, not an easy thing to accomplish considering the high home market prices. But foremost is his dedication to his country. He serves in the armed forces, and in March 2007 is slated to serve overseas for 1 year, obviously away from his newlywed bride and his new home. True dedication to put his country over and above his personal needs - quite commendable! I wish Joe all the best. My prayers are with him as he serves his country, and for his safe return. Now, to be fair, Joe is not the only genviber serving in the armed forces, but I hope these nominations let all of you service people know we do appreciate what you have done, and continue to do.joholste, or "joe hostile" as I sometimes read your user name, GI Joe, I'm glad to know you (and knowing is half the battle ) How is your knee holding up?Joe is currently actively marketing for participation in the Epic North American Vibe Rally 08, so after you post up here to congratulate him on being MotM, be sure to vote in the Rally poll
