Vibe is surprisingly roomy

Post by abe98gt »

Just thought I'd share this thought...Our Vibe is much more comfortable in the rear than my Grand Prix, in which you sit low and the cushion is all pushed forward. In the Vibe, there's plenty of headroom, you sit upright, and theres more than enough legroom too because of that upright position. I have to say that the first time I got in back, I was really shocked. And dare I say it, it might even be more comfortable in the front too...but not when I put the pedal down. lol

I know what you mean we had a 99Grand AM we sold to our son, every time i got into it i banged my head i had to lower the power seat to the floor because my wife had it raised this went on every time i drove the car what a difference in the Vibe we don't adjust the seat any more plenty of room in the Vibe especially cargo space,(see my post.) we would of never been able to get what we got in to the Vibe into the Grand AM Se.
Sattelite/charcoal lower cladding, Moonand tunes, power Package anti Lock Brakes,GM Pontiac moulded mud guards, 5speed, stock wheels and covers,(wanted aluminum wheels) ,charcoal interior, Carflector hood protector by Vent shade,35% tint allaround including the Moon roof. WE Luv our Vibe!

I agree, I traded in a 2000 Grand Prix GT and besides the acceleration, I enjoy this vehicles "atmosphere" and versatility very much.
Shadow two tone, 5 speed, 16" alloys, power group, ABS safety group, 6CD, 200watt. Love the car.

My 6'2 285 lb Uncle fell asleep in my back seat when I first bought it.That brought a smile to my face and almost tears to my eyes

Almost every person who ever rode in my car says, before anything else, "wow this is so comfortable and roomy!"It's everyone's reaction. And I always follow up with a witty "it gets even more comfy and roomy when you fold down the rear seats, throw a mattress down, and invite a cute girl over..."Usually don't get such a laugh, but hey, someone will amuse me someday! Hehe.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
