Toyota Tundra 5.7

Post by djb383 »

Who's got the new 5.7L Tundra? How do you like it? Is it as quick as they claim? Fuel economy? Quiet? Thanks.

My Dad drives an '05 Tundra wth the old V8 (4.6L?). He had one of the new models for a day while he had some recall work done. He said it's almost too big for practical urban use, but that big V8 pulled harder than almost anything he's ever driven.

The new Tundra is sexy, big, and has a sick motor. They had a comparison on Youtube where they do the belt pull against trucks. It took out the Ram, Silverado, F150, Titan. Talk about sickness.
