should i? and will they fit ok?

Post by mistertwo »

I can pick this set of enkei RS-5's up for 250 with tires. The rims are 16x7 and they have very good 225/55/16 bridgestone potenza tires on em. Its a multi lug pattern and one is 5x100. 2 wheels have minor minor rash. Will they fit with those tires on there? and should i buy em? offer him 200? opinions? i can't make up my mind.

Excellent price. The tires are 3.38% too big, 3% is the recommended limit. They will fit just fine but 100kph will appear as 96.6kph. My snow tires are about the same amount oversized and they don't cause any problems.

Currently what size of tires do you have? If they are 16's and in good shape you could always get these wheels and mount your tires on these rims (a better match for the size of the tire)Usually I say there's no point in buying the same size rim as you already have, but if it was only for $200 it's hard to buy tires for that.

do they rub at all? say if you had the wheel cranked all the way to the side, would the tire rub the strut, wheel well, anything? those centerlines sold real quick.. i think he actually sold them on the srt-4 he had.i didn't make it out last night, but i was thinking for 200 bones they would look 10x better than steelies with hub caps...

I have that size tire as my winters as well and no rubbing problems at all.I wouldn't worry about any clearance problems with that minor size difference. If you can get them for 2 bills, take them.
