cup holder

Post by campb292 »

Anyone know where I can get some little rubber tabs for the front cupholder? What I am looking for is much like the little tabs in the cupholder in the grand prix that hold the beverage still. Should have some adhesive on one side u stick to the holder side then the tab sticks out into the empty space where the bev goes... insert bottle of water and thus holds it still. I will confess this is not only for the larger holder in my vibe but for my pos 04 grand am also... u know how it wobbles...

Why not just buy some rubberized adhesive pipe insulation wrap. You can cut it to whatever size you need. I've used it for countless projects...including cushioning a horizontal 34lb propane tank on our forklifts at work. Keeps them from ratttttttttttttling my head off! I also used it in my vibe to keep my injen intake from rattling against the strut tower...thanks to NSimkins for that one!!!!!Product: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn...=noneI know it's not exactly what you want, but you can stick multiple layers on if you need to build thickness.

Are you talking about the little black things inside to hold the bottle/cup tight.

Quote, originally posted by ajflan »Dude, those tanks rattle so much! I'm going to have to try that! Sadly, it only works if the tank itself is in good condition. We have some tanks at work that are broken and part of the valve assembly has broken off and fallen into the tank. Thus, that broken valve piece rattles incessantly, and nothing can be done to stop it (short of not using those tanks). *sigh*
